New Depression Relief Study
This study is exploring whether a new medication called seltorexant can reduce feelings of sadness and low mood in adults living with major depressive disorder. It may be a good fit if your current or past antidepressant hasn't worked well enough, or if you are starting treatment for a new episode of depression. Participants will receive either the study medication or a placebo and will be monitored closely throughout. Taking part involves regular check-ins, health assessments, and support from a dedicated study research team.
- Adults aged 18–74
- Diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD)
- Current depressive episode lasting at least 2 weeks
- Prior antidepressant use, or up to two that didn't work well enough
- BMI between 18 and 40

Major Depression Research Study
This study is testing whether a new medication called azetukalner can reduce symptoms of major depressive disorder on its own. It may help adults who are currently going through a depressive episode lasting at least six weeks. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the study medication or a placebo and will be monitored closely throughout. Taking part involves regular visits to a study site.
- Ages 18–74
- Current major depressive episode (6 weeks to 24 months)
- First depressive episode before age 50
- BMI 40 or below
- Able to travel to New York City
